12 Networks and Culture

In this chapter we apply network ideas and techniques to cultural data. The first tutorial focuses on cultural structures, applying topic modeling and network measures to textual data. The second tutorial focuses on cultural spaces, and utilizes correspondence analysis to analyze data on dissertation topics.
